Well Today was a big day for us.....cuz today our good friends from Jacksonville gave us a phone call bright and early to say Hello....that would be them on the left.
They are Jeff and Leighann and they are travelling to Kochateau to pickup their second little girl Victoria Leigh.
Once here you can read and see some images from their adoption story...You can also meet...Sophia and their newest addition Victoria Leigh!!!!
We also met up with a bunch of families that D knows from the US who are adopting from Almaty or other areas in Kazahkstan. I'll show you a picture of the whole group in a minute.
Welcome to Baby House #3
This being our last day at the baby house we thought
we'd show you what we've been greeted with every day
when we come through the main doors. Basically its
a warning to be careful of the germs you might be
introducing to the children's environment...
Isabella and Yet Another Adoring Fan
This fine young lady wanted us to snap her picture with
little Isabella before we took her away. She was very
sweet and was most grateful. It seems like Isabella
has alot of fans.

With only 2 teeth I think it'll take about 2 weeks to gnaw

We had a fairly short day at the baby house today.
In the Morning we got to visit the kids....but we didn't
snap too many pics because we got to talking with
Gulbanu and two of the new families that arrived in
town yesterday. In the Afternoon we had to reshoot
the passport photos because the originals were shot against a Black background not white.
That afternoon at the photo store was a tough trip. Isabella was a perfect child in the AM...but in the afternoon she
was in a terrible mood....she wouldn't stop crying and we
had brought one of the baby house nurses with us too.
Needless to say her passport pictures were very
endearing (we'll post them for you when we get back).

View From The 4th Floor Washroom (Gulbanu's Bldg)
At 4:00pm we had to go back to see Gulbanu to go
over some prep work for tomorrow's court date. The
view from the washroom was just stunning. The
building in the foreground is a telecommunications
tower.....and of course you know the Kaz Mountains in
the background.....
Shopping....Again
Yup....we took Jeff and Leighann back to Tsum and
couldn't resist a few more knickknacks to take back
with us....we'll show you pictures later....

Howdy From Almaty
Here's the whole group of us. We decided to try to get
as many of us together for some dinner at the Irish Pub.
We had a total of 16 people with us tonight. Some are
leaving tomorrow for different destinations and a few of
them are staying in Almaty.
Well the big day is almost here. Our day in court happens tomorrow at 10:00am sharp.
Needless to say I'm a bit nervous because I'm the one who is going to address the court.....so right after I post this webpage I'm going to put together my 5 minute speech.
So Take It Easy Everyone and By this time tomorrow...There will "officially" be two new Correias in the world !!!
