Our Journey
To Kazahkstan
Correia Family Website

Day 14 -
I Say..."This English Binky is Simply Spiffy"
Well, This was our first official day with the kids 100%
of the time.  It went well....I was tired....from putting
the kids down and trying to finish the website at 4am...

"Don't Hate Me Cuz I'm Beautiful...."
These are actually Evening shots but
what the heck.....Cute Shot of the girl
sitting pretty on the couch....what you don't see is her sliding off of it all the time...Kaz Babies are very slippery.

"Hold Everything....My Hair isn't Combed Right"
Here are the 3 happy campers.  Posing for Daddy.
"Ugggggggggh....Almost Got IT!!"
Here Isabella helps remove a binky from the Boy's
Forehead.  Not sure how it got there....okay okay...its
just an optical illusion...the binky isn't really stuck in his head.  Relax Mom.
Trying Out The New Binky for Size
Here Ethan tries to nibble on his brand
new FRENCH Binky.  These things are
enormous...which might explain the
surprised expression on his face.....
"So what are you trying to say?"
Here Isabella converses with Mommy.
Little did you guys know that Denise
speaks the language of all babies....
Use alot of spit and alot of noise....
"You Kiss your baby with that mouth?"
Obviously Isabella is shocked at what
Denise is telling her....No car of your own
until you can afford to buy new ones for
both Mom and Pop....
Grl1 and Grl2 do the raspberry song..
You guys might be able to see this by now....but both kids are doing so much better now that they are back in the apartment with us.   Definitely a big turnaround in their personalities.

I'm Ready To Go....
Here Cary and Grl2 prepare to go to see
Gulbanu.
Here's Lookin At You Kids...
Gulbanu (avec nouveau cheveaux- with
new haircut) poses with Isabella.  We
went to see her to get the last of the Kaz
paperwork together and some last minute
instructions.
Group Photo....
Here's the bunch of us posing in front of the camera.
The Young Lady in the Yellow is Leela (I think- Gulbanu
if you're reading this please let us know if we got this right)
and she will be the young lady we will be sponsoring.
Mary Hughes in the US helps co-ordinate the sponsorship
program of young adults and helps give them a chance
to prepare themselves for life outside the orphanage.  Give
Mary a call if you're interested in participating.
Paka From Gulbanu's Office
This is probablly the last time we'll see Gulbanu while
we're in Kaz.  She and her people have done such a
good job with our adoption.  This has gone so incredibly
smooth that it's not funny.  Coming to Kaz has been
one of our finest vacations we've ever had.....I've been
able to work a few hours on the computer at night....the
food's been great and we've managed to bring home
a couple of "souvenirs" at the same time....Thanks Gulbanu!
